This rustic, cozy cabin is a highly favored choice for ski trips and winter getaways near Donner Lake, consistently praised by guests for its essential amenities and peaceful atmosphere. However, while the host is widely regarded as responsive, the property’s older construction results in clear design issues regarding sound isolation, and specific cleanliness concerns regarding carpet dust odors have been reported.
Amazing cabin, very peaceful and cozy, would recommend 100%
this cabin is not only located continently for folks coming to Tahoe to enjoy the snow, the cabin also accommodated a larger group with everything described in the reservation.the backyard is large and filled with fluffy snow, cabin got very warm and everything was very clean and convenient.would love to stay again in the future thank you!
Foi uma ótima experiência!
We really loved the house. It has a nice backyard where our dogs could run around, and there are plenty of great walking areas nearby. The house is a bit older with thin walls, so noise does carry through. It also takes some time to warm up, but once heated, it was comfortable. The host responded quickly and provided clear instructions whenever we had an issue. Thank you—we truly enjoyed our stay.
Host was extremely responsive, location was fantastic. Home is rustic, but makes up for it in charm. Great stay overall.
Amanda’s cabin was great. I have to say our only complaint was the carpets. They need a deep cleaning or maybe replacing. That being said, everything else was great. Kitchen was nice and the appliances were clean and newer. The living room was nice and bedrooms were spacious. My favorite part of the cabin was the deck. Our dogs loved being out there and watching the chipmunks tease them. Loved using the gas barbecue too. It was an easy 15 minute drive to Donner lake and Amanda gave us great advice where to go that was dog friendly. Our favorite part about Amanda’s cabin is the peaceful neighborhood it’s in. So quite. We went on some great walks with our dogs and all the cabins were really cool. Beautiful place to vacation!
Nice area and peaceful. Unfortunately not walkable to stores or restaurants but they were not far away. Easy to get to the stores and restaurants and Donner Lake and the state park. Finding parks for the dog and the starting point of a bike path was easy and fun.The cabin had a great deck, very enjoyable for morning coffee and dinner in the evenings. Had a good bbq so we used the grill almost exclusively for our dinners.
We loved the house. The house had everything we needed, we were very comfortable. Quiet and peaceful. Amanda was so kind! I highly recommend.
Great stay in a cozy cabin at Tahoe Donner. We loved all the trails right from the backyard into the National Forest - awesome location!
Loved staying here for our ski trip. It was so cute and the surrounding area so peaceful. Close to the downtown for groceries and only 15-20 min from Donner Ski Ranch. Will definitely come again!
