Great location and perfect size for 2 people.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect, our daughter learned how to ski just steps away from the room. Dusti was extremely kind and responsive. Highly recommend!

I should have known better than to book a non-refundable winter vacation. In fairness, I didn't know that the third largest snowfall over a five day period in recorded history would happen over the four days I had planned my trip (President's Day week 2026). We never made it to this property due to the numerous highway closures, dangerous blizzard-y conditions, and 111 inches of snow. I asked Dusti if there was anything they could do (I hoped they would make it available to re-rent to someone who got stranded up the mountain unexpectedly [and refund us any days they managed to re-rent] since I'm betting there were quite a lot of stranded travelers), but they just replied, "I apologize there are no refunds." I'm giving 4 stars because it's their right to have a strict no refund policy and I don't want to tank their ratings since I knew it when I booked...but I also know that I will NEVER book a non-refundable air bnb in the winter again. I wish they would have worked with us a bit.

Couldn't be more convenient for family skiing at Tahoe Donner. The room is very cozy, the size of a hotel room, but well laid out with a bed flanked by two loveseats that convert into beds. The kitchenette is small but serviceable for basic meals, with a hotplate, toaster oven, and microwave. Lots of hooks on the wall, and a mat to catch drips from boots, are helpful additions. Perfect little place for a couple or small family on a ski trip. Dusti let us check in early, which was much appreciated!

We had a great stay at Dusti's place. It is perfect if you are skiing at Tahoe Donner, no stress about parking whatsoever, and you can come back home to take a break or eat anytime you want. Beds were comfortable and worked out great for our family of four (2 adults + 2 kids who each got their own twin size bed/pull-out couch that was very comfy). Kitchen is well configured for its size- there is an electric burner with pots & pans, an air fryer, a toaster, and a coffee machine, and an oversized mini fridge with large freezer.

Very close to the Donner Downhill Ski Resort. We can easily walk our kids to the ski school and come back to rest. This place is very small and compact, so be mindful if that’s something you care about. But they do have everything we needed for a short ski trip. The two pullout sofa were nice and easy for our two kids. Likely a bit short for adults though. They had plenty of linens which was nice. The host was very responsive. Overall our stay was easy and the kids enjoyed a lot of snow.

The place was acceptable overall, but the stay did not fully match the price. Hot water required waiting to reheat when used consecutively, the heating system was difficult to control, and the internet speed was slow. Improvements to these basic amenities would greatly enhance the experience.
