Terrific place in Tahoe Donner. Well kept, clean, comfortable and easy

If I had to choose a place to be snowed-in with in-laws over Christmas, Dave’s beautiful cabin is it! The large living room had ample space for our multi-generational party to sprawl out and knit, watch tv, do puzzles, and play with toys. The kitchen is well-stocked with quality cookware, appliances and utensils. There are multiple large tables for dining. The two stoves (one wood-burning, one gas) made the space warm and cozy. The large hot tub was really the cherry on top. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and Dave was great with on-the-fly communication. It was hard to leave this beautiful home after a nice week watching the snow accumulate.

We had a wonderful family vacation! The cabin was incredibly comfortable and perfectly located for all kinds of outdoor activities with our kids. We would love to return for our next vacation!

Dave's place was inviting, very clean, and simply beautiful with plenty of windows looking into the forest. The house was spacious and big enough for multi-families to share, yet the floorplan was cozy and comfortable for our family to enjoy playing games and watching movies in the same space or using the upstairs loft and backyard deck for a little space and alone time. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked, the furniture and beds were comfortable. Each bedroom has floor/countertop fans for those warmer days, there's plenty of games to play in the family room area with the additional dining table. The backyard deck with loungers/couches, BBQ, and relaxing in the hot tub was the highlight! Dave was a fantastic host and was available and always easy to communicate with! We would definitely stay at Dave's place again!

We had a wonderful stay over the 4th of July! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. Communication with the host was easy and responsive. We’d definitely stay here again!

On the spur of the moment after a hard week, my husband and I decided to get away with our toddler. Dave was kind enough to open up his house to us. It was perfect for us close enough to the to the lake great amenities and super comfortable.

A great cabin! So much bigger than we thought. We will be back for sure!

We had a fantastic stay at Dave's place! As a family of five plus our dog, we found the house to be clean, well-organized, and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. While we didn’t encounter any issues, Dave was very responsive and made us feel well taken care of. Highly recommend this lovely home for a stress-free and enjoyable stay!

Dave's place is lovely and very homey! My family of 4 felt right at home! There was more than enough room for us, and we could have easily accommodated another 2 people. My kids absolutely loved the loft area. Very well appointed and cozy living room, and we appreciated the games provided for game night! Hot tub was perfect after spending hours playing in the snow. Location was ideal - 10 mins from downtown truckee and 5 mins from Tahoe Donner ski resort! Check in was a breeze and Dave was incredibly responsive and accommodating, letting us check in a day early with little notice and extending our checkout time.The only downside renters might want to be aware of is garage is not attached, and you walk down a little path from the driveway to the front door. This wasn't an issue at all for us, it snowed while we were there but not so much that we had to shovel out the path or our car. But if you're booking during a real snow storm, you just might have to shovel the path or your car.
