5 months agoWe booked this place through Airbnb for a long weekend a year in advance. The host immediately asked us to cancel since “they might sell and didn’t want us to end up without a place to stay.” Within 5 mins they had it available again for $2K more. We obviously haven’t stayed there so can’t speak to what it’s like but they are questionable hosts in terms of integrity.

almost 8 years agoFantastic stay for our family! The house is gorgeous, the location is fantastic, and we had a wonderful time. The only issue we had is the train can be very loud at night, but that isn't in the owner's control and we felt the location was worth it. Great for a family reunion!

about 8 years agoOur trip to The Richardson House was memorable. We had 14 sleeping in the house, and another 14 that came for a family get together for the day and the space was more than adequate. The home is beautiful and unique, nothing compares really. The location was perfect, a short walk to all the bars and restaurants downtown! Lastly, Jeannine was superb. We are from out of town and she assisted with all the small details to make our weekend perfect, and replied to all questions extremely quick. I can’t recommend The Richardson House enough! We look forward to our next visit!!

6 months agoEnjoyed this beautiful house for a weekend with 4 families. Wonderful stocked kitchen to make meals and a lovely dining room to hang out together. The tall grand spaces made it feel very special, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone to have privacy. Would stay again.

about 1 year agoWe had a wonderful week in this beautifully restored home. We could walk into town. The kitchen was well stocked and a pleasure to cook in. The beds were very comfortable. We felt right at home. The outdoor table was a lovely setting where we ate our meals.

about 1 year agoSuch a great experience. House was charming, clean, modernized, spacious. Beds were firm. Beautiful gazebo and gardens to relax it. Great location. Not sure what else to say that hasn't been said about this place. My biggest compliment is I will check there first next time in Truckee.Thank you Jeannine.

about 1 year agoAmazing stay in Truckee. We were in town for a leadership meeting and the home was perfect for our group of 8. Great outdoor spaces to enjoy the views of the Sierras. Easy walk to downtown where you can find great food options. Ample parking.
