We enjoyed our second stay at Aspen View just as much as our first. Clean, cozy, great proximity to Sugar Bowl and Donner Ski Ranch. Jonathan's place is a perfect spot for a couple or small family to stay for a winter trip to Tahoe.

Beautiful upstairs apartment, completely furnished, wam, cozy place. It is over a garage, but it is a separate self contained living space that has been beautifully done.

We had an unforgettable stay at this incredible carriage house, made even more special by our amazing hosts. During the biggest blizzard Tahoe has seen in nearly 40 years, they went above and beyond—snowblowing the driveway, shoveling out our car, and checking in on us to make sure we were safe and comfortable. Their kindness genuinely got us through the storm.The carriage house itself was beautiful, cozy, and perfectly maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing week. The location couldn’t be better—just minutes from Truckee and Sugar Bowl, yet tucked away in a peaceful, scenic spot.Despite the wild weather, we had a wonderful week in Tahoe, and that’s entirely thanks to the warmth and generosity of our hosts. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Thank you Jonathan for a wonderful stay! The place was in a very lovely and private neighborhood just a walk away from the lake. It was very warm with heated floors. The place was spotless clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Perfect getaway for our family of 4. It was definitely a 5 out of 5 star experience. Highly recommend! Hope to be back next year!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay here as a family of 4. The place is perfectly laid out, with enough space for 2 adults and 2 children to be very comfortable. The place was very clean, and everything very well labeled such that we never needed to bother Jonathan with any questions. We look forward to staying here again!

Jonathan‘s Carriage house at Donner Lake is a beautiful, strongly Swedish inspired, well-designed accommodation. Every detail of design, furnishings, kitchen-ware, storage is very well thought out. There is high-quality design and amenities throughout.The Carriage House is located a few blocks away from the more densely built up area of cabins, among bigger, consistently higher-end homes. It sits in a lovely and extensive garden, and is private, peaceful, and quiet. I’ve owned a cabin before at the west end of Donner Lake, and so I am very familiar with the beautiful setting and location and all that they have to offer. The Carriage House sits at the heart of this.The host, Jonathon, was very welcoming, generous and thoughtful. We felt very comfortable when talking with him. He is actually the architect of the home, where he lives, and the Carriage House.This is the second time that I’ve stayed at the Carriage House and I will definitely return.
