Very well

Exactly like the photos! The place has beautiful views and is peaceful and quiet—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We stayed with family and friends for a long weekend, and there was plenty of room for everyone. It was very comfortable and everything we needed was nearby. The only downside was that it got pretty hot during the day in the summer, and the floor fans provided were too dusty to use, which was a bit disappointing. Thankfully, we were out most of the day, so it didn’t affect us too much. We’d definitely stay here again! Evolve was very responsive and helpful whenever we reached out.

The location was beautiful, but the inside was a huge letdown. We arrived to a strong smell of dust, old food left in the fridge/freezer, and bugs—dead and alive—throughout. Cobwebs and spiders in corners, mouse droppings under the couch, and stained furniture made the home feel neglected and dirty. We booked for 8 people expecting 4 bedrooms, only to find one locked and unusable. When we contacted Evolve, we were told it didn’t pass inspection—after check-in. No explanation, no warning. Worst of all, we found what looked like dried blood in the garage near dangerous tools like an axe and saw, with an unlocked exterior door next to them. We had to buy a lock for safety. Only the bathrooms felt remotely clean. For the price, we expected much more—this place needs serious attention and better communication. Hugely disappointed.

We came with our kids for a few days to ski at Donner. The location for activities in Donner, namely skiing but also proximity to lodge and other amenities, is fantastic. Unfortunately, with the exception of the location, we were quite disappointed. The house is not very well maintained, with cracked tiles and cheap fixtures, but more importantly not clean: spider webs, dirty dishes in washer and cabinets, bacon grease splattered all over stovetop, stained towels, moldy bath curtains. Topped off with scratchy sheets, fraying towels and no duvet cover. Despite the excellent location we will not be staying here again.

Overall the cabin was beautiful. Paintings meticulously placed to give each room a vibe of their own. I loved the bedroom with its old rock band and records theme. You get a beautiful unobstructed view of the stars from the balcony as well! It did get quite hot inside during the summertime (which was when we visited) however toward the nighttime, opening up the windows and screendoor helped cool the rooms down immensely. Intructions on accessing WiFi and door was good. Lots of utensils and kitchen applicances for use was convenient. Would stay here again for sure!

This cabin was very nice and spacious. We came up for a baseball tournament and it was perfect driving distance to the fields as well as a very comfortable space to stay. We would definitely come back and recommend this cabin to all.

My family & I had a enjoyable time, during our stay. Very cozy & spacious cabin & clean. There was snow boots & sleds available to use. When arriving to the cabin however, it was very hard to locate. We had arrived after dark & it was pitch black in the driveway to which we couldn’t see the house number. There was a snowstorm the week prior which left snow blocking the staircase to the front door. We had a hard time entering the front of the house & had to call for assistance but they were very helpful and prompt to assist us to access the garage. Both porches were also blocked with snow so we couldn’t access the backyard. But the next morning we had help with the snow in the front stairs. There was also no working light in the downstairs bathroom & was dark with the lamp that was available. Nonetheless, the kitchen was fully stocked & had everything we needed. The rooms were comfortable & my kids enjoyed the cabin. We left shoes behind but evolve was great in helping me ship it back.

Very nice beautiful house. Kitchen is full of equipment. Big selection of snow slides for kids. Basically house has everything you would need. The signature of the house is the fireplace. Only one thing that was bothering us, it was a lot of spider webs around the house, specially when the sun comes up, you could see a lot of it, would be nice if you guys would take care of it.
