Casa del Sol is exactly as advertised - beautiful, spacious, and cozy. We loved our time there and are looking forward to hopefully coming back next ski season!

We had a wonderful visit at Alberto’s home in Truckee. Everything was exactly as described, and he was very responsive to all of our questions/requests. We would return there again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Alberto’s place. He was very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. The kitchen is extremely well stocked, which made cooking easy, and we loved that all three bedrooms have their own bathrooms. The upstairs primary bedroom is very nice, though it has pocket doors with windows and a curtain, so it feels only somewhat private.Overall, everything was great. The only surprise was that the hot tub and pool at the Rec Center require a $30 per person, per day fee, which wasn’t mentioned in the listing. Since the hot tub is listed as an amenity, we assumed it would be included. However, I would strongly recommend adding this detail to the description, as many guests may plan to use the hot tub and could be surprised by a $180 per day cost for six people.Highly recommended!

We loved Casa Del Sol! The windows are gorgeous, the house is adorably decorated with plants and a colorful bohemian style, and it’s well stocked with everything you’d need!!! It’s cozy and charming and we can’t wait to stay again. The fireplace kept the house warm and the beds were comfy.

The house was fine. The loft area is not toddler or baby safe. The problems arose after we left the house when Alberto accused us of breaking a “shampoo shelf” - we had no idea what he was even referring to. Without any communication about whether we had actually broken the item, no pictures of the item initially, and no reasonable quote to fix the item he charged us $1500.The item turned out to be a small ceramic shelf in the shower that my husband and I had no memory of breaking or even really touching. We have hosted an Airbnb and believe that a host should be compensated damages. We would have taken responsibility if we had damaged it. Since we had nothing to do with breaking the shelf I refused the request.

Alberto's place was perfect for our ski week which included 6 adults, one toddler and one pup. It was great to have a well equipped kitchen (knives, utensils, serving bowls, food storage containers, great stove) as we cooked and ate all our breakfasts and dinners at the house. The layout was great for 3 couples. One member of our group was able to "work from home" in the upstairs office space. The house had equipment for our toddler (playpen, highchair, baby bath) so we didn't have to pack all that equipment. Note: there are several golf courses in the area, so my son has his eyes on renting Alberto's place for a golf week. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year!
