My family and I overall had a good stay at this cabin. The property itself was clean, comfortable, and we didn’t have any issues with the accommodations. We truly enjoyed our time together and appreciated the setting.However, there was a serious issue with the jacuzzi that cannot be overlooked. After using it, multiple members of my family developed rashes and had to go to the ER. Medical professionals confirmed that this was due to unsanitary conditions related to the jacuzzi, which made the situation very concerning.What was most disappointing was the response from the owner. I initially reached out not to request a refund, but simply to make them aware so future guests wouldn’t experience the same issue. Unfortunately, the concern was minimized and dismissed as “normal,” which it absolutely is not. A situation that resulted in ER visits should be taken seriously and handled with care and accountability.I would have appreciated a sincere apology and acknowledgment of the issue.

Great place for a multi friend stay. Hot tub was a must after the slopes.

We had a wonderful stay at Charles and Joanne’s place. The house had everything we needed for our two families of 5. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kids loved the game room in the basement! If we return to Tahoe, we would absolutely love to stay here again.

We rented this house for a ski weekend and it was exceptional. Extremely clean, spacious and well equipped. The hosts were very communicative and the house was very comfortable and had all the features you would want. Would definitely go back!

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend. The house was lovely and perfectly sized for our group of 10. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, which made cooking super easy. Our kids loved the hot tub and playing in the snow in the backyard. It was also really close to Sugar Rush tubing and all sorts of restaurants. Charles and Joanne were superb hosts—very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely come back in the future!

We stayed at Charles and Jo’s place with our family of 10 from grandparents to grandkids. The place was extremely clean, cozy and comfortable. We had a lot of fun playing with the ping pong table and enjoyed the hot tub. Kids loved the bunk beds. Kitchen was nice and well stocked. The location is close to snow play and tubing area. I highly recommend this place!

It was wonderful! The place everything we needed and more. The hot tub, pool table, movie room, and ping pong table were also really well used and appreciated. Close to Donner lake and downtown Truckee too. Great spot!
